Well kiddies, belatedly reviewing my newsfeeds – behind for all the reading necessary attempting to wedge understanding into my noggin about the Roe/Wade hoopla – I came across an article that suggests now and again I sparkle with genius.
The Desert Sun, early this morning Spacific Time Zone, reported on a plan to divert Mississippippippi River waters to parched over-consuming western states.
Oddly, earlier this year, I covered this in a two-part post when my Mister Fixit let you travel with him prepping a Talltree Times technology story he was asked to cover for indisposed Sergeant Major.
Read part one here: Talltree Techhnology Beat Part I
And part two here: Talltree Technology Beat Part II
See what you miss when you skip a read?

Okay. Not genius. Maybe a smidge of insight?
I remember reading it. It seemed like a plausible idea as long as the level of the Mississippi River doesn’t fall to the point where it hurts the people who depend on it now.

Although all states are important, undoubtedly California is one of the most important, after New York (basically just NYC)…they need water, you gotta give it to them…

California has an ocean. Plenty of water. Take half of the Karbaskiain income to fund desalination plants. Or let them pucker.

California is equal to the 8th richest country in the world, of course they will not do without water, and not salt water, real water, so what is wrong with them getting it from the Mississippi River?

California, the 1st most pompous country in the world does have any rights to Mississippi River basin water. A quick look at a US map will reveal they are not entitled to that resource. If Mississippi, Louisiana, et. al want to SELL some water to California, fine but they should get a nifty price for it and I believe it should part of a deal whereby California compensates the rest of the US for their annual brush fire pollution. Far as I’m concerned California can have all the Mississippi water they want after paying for it and siphoning it off from annual basin floods, or after it empties into the Gulf of Mexico. Rich and pompous does not equate to “the world owes me” anything else is pure and simple theft.
