Learning ends not
When we close our eyes,
When we close our minds,
When we become teachers,
When we think ourselves educated,
When our ears ignore other voices,
When new ideas are smothered,
When our heart no longer cares, or
When another commands it cease.
Learning ends
When we draw our last conscious breath.
