(An exercise in humility)

For all serious science wizards out there –
(for the rest of us it’s a moment of fun)

Given:

(some independent research is required)

On April 15, 2024 at 3 am CDT, I was headed magnetic west from Chicago, Kansas, elevation 810 m at 22.4 m/s.

My truck was frictionless.

Windspeed at ground level was 8 km/h from magnetic 135 degrees.

Earth’s rotation was 460 m/s.

Earth’s solar orbit was 30 km/s.

Earth is in the Milky Way Local Galaxy of the Virgo Supercluster moving at 150 Km/s relative to its center.

The Cosmos expands at 73.5 km/s/Mpc.

Question:

(It’s a two-parter, missing either renders your response incorrect.)

A. What, on April 15, 2024 at 3 am CDT, was the velocity of my truck’s left front axle in relation to the origin of the cosmos?

B. What pairs better with rosemary-panko crusted roast pork chop – Serrano-collard pesto or sauteed kale in fatback-vinaigrette?

C. (Bonus) Is the concept of up/down valid in deep space?

Retired career IT software engineer, or as we were called in the old days, programmer, it's time to empty my file cabinet of all the "creative" writing accumulated over the years - toss most of it, salvage and publish what is worthwhile.
